Endurance: Where Faith and Fitness Meet
Join Steven and Nathan on Endurance for some essential spiritual training you don’t want to miss.
We love physical exercise, but we know that our spiritual training is far more important. (Check out 1 Timothy 4:8)
And so, on Endurance, we look at how to maintain a healthy balance between Faith and Fitness and how to endure in our daily spiritual training.
Catch the Endurance Radio show - Sundays, from 6 til 8pm.

S05E009, Mustn't Grumble, Endurance
On this episode, we look at the idea of grumbling, and why we really mustn’t.
Endurance is your weekly spiritual workout, whether you think of yourself as a beginner, an intermediate, or advanced!
#GoDeeper
Steven begins this week’s GoDeeper by explaining that grumbling through a workout or through life is hard work. He makes the distinction between grumbling and being honest about life.
Steven gives us an example of grumbling from the bible and identifies the cause of grumbling as discontentment. He explains how to be content and concludes quite simply that we need to be content.
#GoDo
For the final segment, Nathan asks Steven some questions about his talk:
- I gather from your talk that grumbling never helps anyone; it always makes life harder for everyone concerned. Is that correct?
- Contentment – not always easy to achieve. But, as you say, it is ‘super important’. If we are not content, is that especially serious?
- Do you think you grumble much?
- If you were given a cucumber, would you be content?
Check out this week’s episode to find out how Steven answers these questions.
